Almost 300 artistic interventions have been integrated into urban space and architecture since the Fund was created, showcasing a variety of approaches and experiments in contemporary art, across all generations and practice areas. The collection of movable artworks features over 4100 items, and reflects not only the history of artistic creation in Geneva and its vibrant scene, but also its interaction with Swiss and international art. The collection also includes a significant video art section, i.e. the André Iten Fund, a legacy from Centre pour l’Image contemporaine de Genève (Centre for Contemporary Image – Geneva), which covers the production of the most influential international art movements since the 1960s.

Since 2022, the FMAC coproduces two new commissions yearly for the Mire program.

The FMAC Collection : www.ville-ge.ch/fmac
For further information: www.fmac-geneve.ch

Program partners: Centre d’art contemporain Genève and Fonds d’art contemporain de la Ville de Genève Founded in 1974, Centre d’Art Contemporain Geneva is an exhibition venue and a forum for discussion and thought.
